Terms of use
1. Purpose
MeilleurArtisan.ch operates a matching service between private individuals who have a construction, renovation or maintenance project and qualified artisan companies in Switzerland.
The platform does not issue quotes itself and does not carry out any work. The contract for the works is concluded solely between the customer and the chosen artisan.
2. Service and relationship with artisans
The user describes their project through the form. Up to three qualified companies from their region may then contact them to make an offer.
The commercial terms of the works are agreed directly between the user and the selected artisan company.
3. User obligations
The user undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information and to use the platform only for genuine, personal requests.
Any fraudulent, abusive, automated or unlawful use may result in the immediate suspension of access, without notice or compensation.
4. Liability
MeilleurArtisan.ch acts solely as a technical intermediary. The quality, deadlines, prices and execution of the work are the sole responsibility of the artisan company performing it.
The platform strives to onboard serious, verified partners but cannot be held liable for disputes or damages arising between the customer and a company. The service is provided “as is”, without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
5. Intellectual property
All elements of the platform (brand, logo, texts, structure, database, visuals) are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction or reuse without prior written authorisation is prohibited.
6. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. To the extent permitted by law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is the operator's registered office in Sion (Valais).

The brand, domain name, editorial content, visuals and structure of the site are owned by the publisher or licensed to it. Any reproduction, representation or distribution, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is prohibited and may be prosecuted.

The site may contain links to external resources. The publisher has no control over these third-party sites and declines any responsibility for their content or privacy practices.
Privacy policy
The processing of personal data is governed by Swiss law, in particular the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and its implementing ordinance.

- Identity data: first and last name.
- Contact details: email address and phone number.
- Project location: postcode and/or commune.
- Project description freely entered in the form.
- Technical data: IP address, connection logs and browsing data (cookies).
3. Purposes
- Connecting the user with relevant partner artisan companies.
- Processing and following up the quote request.
- Ensuring the security, operation and improvement of the service.
- Complying with legal obligations and responding to any requests from authorities.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on the user's consent (submission of the form), on the publisher's legitimate interest in operating and securing the platform, and on the performance of pre-contractual matching measures.
5. Recipients of the data
The data is shared with the partner artisan companies selected to respond to the request, as well as with the technical service providers strictly necessary for the service (hosting, email delivery). No data is sold to third parties for advertising purposes.
6. Transfer and hosting
The site is hosted on a cloud infrastructure that may involve servers located outside Switzerland. Such transfers are carried out only with appropriate safeguards in line with the revFADP (data protection clauses or a country offering an adequate level of protection).
7. Retention period
Data is kept for as long as necessary to process the matching request, then archived or deleted in accordance with applicable legal periods. Browsing data is kept for limited periods.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and restrict the processing of your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent and to data portability. To exercise them, write to contact@meilleurartisan.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or the competent supervisory authority.
9. Cookies and audience measurement
The site uses technical cookies necessary for its operation and audience-measurement cookies used to produce visitor statistics. You can configure your browser to refuse non-essential cookies.
10. Security
The publisher implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
